K₂ EDTA Tube with Separation Gel

Intended Use: Whole blood collection for hematology testing requiring plasma separation after centrifugation. Additive: K₂ EDTA (1.8 mg/mL, spray-dried) with Thixotropic polymer separation gel. Mechanism of Action: EDTA chelates ionized calcium (Ca²⁺), preventing coagulation. During centrifugation, the thixotropic gel migrates to form a stable barrier between plasma and cellular components.
